As a not-for-profit corporation exempt from taxes under IRS section 501 (c)(3), MERIN depends on corporate partners, to help extend and expand its capabilities and mission.

MERIN sponsors have the unique opportunity to position their companies in front of a diverse, international community of physicians while, at the same time reach future decision-makers through exposure to a local community of medical students.

MERIN sponsors typically, though not always, schedule advanced surgical training courses throughout the year. This may be an existing course or a newly developed procedure that MERIN and the sponsor jointly feel would be a valuable addition to the ever-expanding curriculum of educational training that MERIN delivers to physicians. Based upon their support sponsors are recognized at various levels:

MERIN Founding Sponsors

This highest level of MERIN sponsorship is for those companies wishing to share in the development of MERIN as it shapes the way physicians and industry interact in the age of growing technological advancement in medical and surgical arenas. Founding Sponsors have the unique opportunity to showcase their company during their courses. Founding Sponsors receive advanced scheduling notification each year, their logo prominently displayed in the lobby, and permanent logo recognition of their contribution in the MERIN Lecture Hall.  The Founding Sponsor level is available to companies that contribute $100,000 per year for three years.

MERIN Supporting Sponsors

Supporting Sponsor is ideal for companies that want to participate in shaping MERIN without taking on the larger commitment made by Founding Sponsors. Supporting Sponsors, in addition to receiving the Sponsor Benefits Package, also receive recognition in the Lecture Hall for their support of the entire MERIN effort. The Supporting Sponsor level is available to companies that contribute $50,000 to $99,999 for one year.

MERIN Contributing Sponsors

Contributing Sponsors receive all the benefits of the MERIN Sponsor Benefits Package and are recognized for their support of the entire MERIN effort. The Contributing Sponsor level is available to companies that contribute up to $49,999 for one year.
