The Medical Education and Research Institute of Nevada (MERIN) is a not-for-profit facility dedicated to improving the quality of health care in our community by providing a state-of-the-art facility for advanced surgical training and the testing of innovative surgical procedures and new equipment.

Essential to this mission is the Generations: An Anatomical Donation program. Countless lives may be saved and quality of life improved by the selfless gift of whole body donation. MERIN operates the Generations program as an agent for Touro University

It is through the generosity of individuals who donate their bodies to science for medical education that in depth study of the human body can be conducted by members of the medical community. Because of whole body donation, countless individuals enjoy a better quality of life.

It is a sad fact, however, that far too few know and plan for the donation of their bodies to science. It is MERIN's mission to educate and inform the public on the necessity of whole body donation.

The advanced surgical training that takes place at MERIN is only possible because of the precise gift that individuals make to the Generations program - themselves.
